Long over due and some photos of a Trip to Tennessee

Hi there folks, Its been a while since I have posted anything on this blogger, but I have been a busy fellow. Today was simply working around the house some more on the trim that we are finishing up on the living room. I wish that sometimes that we didn't have to work this hard on it, but there isn't much way around it to make it look the best we want ot make it look. Either way, its all good. House work is not for the lazy at heart that is for sure. So take some advice new folks that are either going to get married or are newly married. When you buy a bloody house - yes bloody house - make sure you have everything done before you move in. My fingers haven't hurt so bad in years. And that might just be from the caulking that we are doing around the walls to fill holes. :( Oh well. Live and learn right.

Here are some photos however, of the trip I took to Chattanooga, Tenn. A while back. Either way enjoy and thats all for now. Most of these photos came from the Chattanooga, Tenn., Aquarium. Fun times for sure.

Moderation

The world is full of Moderation - sometimes good sometimes bad. I simply caught this nice little word from the Dashboard in blogSpot.

So what does it mean to you folks?

Dictionary.com calls it:

–noun
1. the quality of being moderate; restraint; avoidance of extremes or excesses; temperance.
2. the act of moderating.
3. moderations, British. the first public examinations at Oxford University for the B.A. degree in mathematics or in classics.
4. in moderation, without excess; moderately; temperately: to drink in moderation.

I simply think of it more of Idiom than I do a noun. Interesting idea. Either way umm.......
Simply, here is something for your viewing pleasure.

However; this photo was taken at Nolin Lake several years ago. I just happen to keep it on hand cause I thought it a cool photo to keep around.......

Spillman Photography / A Shade of Gray

Guess what folks. Spillman Photograph is on blog spot. This is the family business by the way so its really nice to be able to give an awesome idea to my father and encourage him to take part in new and up and coming technologies. Prime example is Facebook. Recently, I got him involved in that. Connections and making friends is what its all about and through this medium we are able to connect with more people that want to check out new and cutting edge photos, show off your friends, and leave amazing feedback if you so choose to what you think about the photos left on, not only my blog but also on the Spillman Photography blog as well. Simply, here is a link to the blog: http://spillmanphotography.blogspot.com/ and then to the site itself to be able to see their works. http://www.spillmanphotography.com/ Spillman Photography consists of Harry, Debra and William (myself) Spillman. Feel free to contact us for a scheduling or to see more work that we do with weddings, portraits, sports, seniors, and family groups of any size. Thanks.

Softball end of season 2009

Alissa Hampton (14) a Junior at Barren County High School, pitched the first three innings of the 15th District Championship game Wed May 20, 2009 with Allen County Scottsville High School. The Trojanettes fought hard yet lost 7 - 0. Photo by: ©William Spillman

{Took this a while back, but I thought it a fun starting frame to work my way back from. There is a fun story behind this, this person that is pitching is my fourth grade teachers daughter. :)} It just happen to be the best frame I took all day that day.......Oh well.

A start of something old.

To be very honest. I never thought about doing a blog until I kept seeing some people placing their photographs on their blogs. I need to do that I keep telling myself. I hope to be able to make it worth the idea of putting my time into this blog and linking it accoridngly. Also, eventually there will be one linking to my fathers photographs as well. It just is going to take some time every now and again to place some photographs on here to share some of my better works form the past few years. Then I can take on the other stuff that is for the future. I bid you to find this site again in a while and see if I have updated it and I think that maybe somehow it will for sure be updated. It just might take me a while to get going with it. Thats all. Till next time folks.

A L L Y O U R B A S E B E L O N G T O U S!

Alright, sitting in this hotel in Nashville, I have to admit. I am lonely. Funny thing is I am not the only one that feels this way. My wonderful fiancee is at home feeling the same way as I do. Simply, put. I have a job to do here and I am going to do it and return home and try and learn something in the process. Either way, its nice to be able to come a decent hotel and sit and get on the internet that has faster upload speeds than download speeds. Weird how that happens from time to time.
I am not sure what gives with that ides, but oh well. Simply, I see Kari Collins blog as an interesting motivator. She may have pissed me off a time or two, but well crap what can I say. She rocks out. I never got passed that tough shell of hers and saw much of the squishy side of her. I still say she rocks though. :) I always have and I always will. http://karicollins.blogspot.com/ Thats her blog. Check it. Its good stuff. Maine must work for her rather well.

Anyway, If anyone ever reads this from Western and most of all from the PJ department, then I hope that Kari reads this as well. Apologizes are interesting to the world. I guess I sometimes come to the realization that when you say your sorry you try and heal over time. Now, some are thinking "Oh GOD what is the history with these kids." It really doesn't freakin' matter. I Just happen to see a post somewhere with PJAFTERSCHOOL a local group orient with Yahoo groups; and could not help but wonder what it was like to be in her shoes moving around so much. Here I am also thinking I have a house and a future wife to atest to and I am so much farther along than most people that are right out of college. I guess thats part of being an only child or that is part of my mentality. :) Not sure which really. either way, I feel that I am going to do alright with the Information Technology position that i have right now and that things are going to be alright. I hope in the future i can have more time to be able to take some portraits that I want to take of some seniors or otherwise. yes, maybe even the type of seniors that you are thinking. 65 + they are rather interesting and always have some story to tell for a great write up and caption. Who knows I might get into it again with my free time. Which is rare as of late working on the house so hard. I mean really I still have to get somethings together for Mrs. Adams-Smith for the last semester I told her that I was going to redo a project for her for her class this semester and I really truely have not had the time to work on it. Sad times.
Anyway, I am going to go get in bed cause I am getting sleepy and its like 5 till one am.
So, either way, My Love I Love You and if you read this awesome. Just remember that sometimes lonely people can find the most creative ways of spending their time weither it be through their photographic talets or creating more innovative technologies for the future. Film or Digital they alll have to play with the light.

Cheers.

Standing next to my truck.

I am wondering if I should start going around my neighborhood and introducing people to WEP. You know that Wireless Encryption Protocol that should be on every wireless device known to God. Seems that I am standing next to my truck right now at my new house and guess what - its got a unencrypted wireless linksys device. Guess where I am at? Thats right. Cave City Kentucky. Either way things are going well here. Rebuilding this house is an interesting adventure and have been rebuilding it for some time now and really not sure what else we are going to do with it. I do know that one time eventually we are going to be moving in sometime. Sometime as in the next month or so. Not sure when really. I might let everyone know eventually...then again I might just not let everyone know where I live. I hate it when people show up after 9 pm saying WOW cooll house now where is the nickel tour. Pisses me off. Anyway, things are going well with it and I hope to be in sometime by the end of October. Being out of town several days puts Oct. in a real pain in my booty time. Simply, I won't be doing all the work I will have help getting my things together in Bowling Green. Weird how that happens sometimes. When you have someone else in your life and can't do all the work you want to do with it all. The good thing is I am only minutes from my work in Glasgow which is about 14 miles away. Some say its 11.25. yahoo I am off. I could care less. I say 10-15 normally when people ask how far away it is. I guess thats just me and the way that I swing. Either way, I am going to leave you with the world around you and say good day. A lots happen since i posted something. My new boss has gotten me into blogging again. We shall see where it goes.

Cheers.

Sitting with a headache from heck.

Alright there have been points and times in my life where I have been tired and not wanting to do very much at all. Today is one of those days. I feel like crap due to being so tired and run down. This has been something I have fought with for several weeks now - on and off medications and just simply not with it in this world. Med head all the time and not really sure what to do about it and let my body take its course. Oh well, i guess thats life the universe and everything (May Douglas Adams rest in peace). Simply, I can't even type straight thats how bad this headache is.
Anyway, looking at houses yesterday and flipping through the listings on Help U Sell.com it seems that there are several we are looking at. Thank goodness for people around me willing to give me information into what i need to be looking at and finding what needs to be done next. Simply, everything needs to be done. Which sucks, but that is the way that life is taking a toll on my brain. HA!
Alright Alright so I might be over reacting a little it but damn my head hurts.
Anywho. simply. I am going to go throughout the next few weeks and try and figure out what to do with the rest of my life and make it a whole lot better. Simply, my photography business is going to have to grow a big time for me to get out of the hole that I am in with the current place of employment. Not many people can say that they have a job right now and are a photographer. It often does not happen. I am not sure why that is but it does happen that way. Photographers take a long time to build their business and then once its up and going they have to keep it up and going. Thats apart of their lives and how they live. I see that as a good thing and I hope to continue owning my own business with a fashion(spelling here sucks) that I can make things work to my advantage. Either way; to the future as we know it is unclear as I have said before. :) YADA! ALRIGHT.

Now then. Simply, I am looking for a house. If you have any ideas please feel free to leave me a post as to what to do for the first house ownership and any tax prep stuff I might need to do in the future.

cheers to the people.
Hooah!
I am going to bed.

What do you think of this photograph I took sometime ago at the Nolin Dam in Bee Springs Kentucky.

The interesting world of an business.

You know sometimes there are times in your life to find a way to make it work for yourself. Since i feel the stress of having freaking three or more bosses running down my throat all the time. I feel like I have to explain my every step until it really becomes right. Strange thing is I am not sure that the best way is to be explaining it like I am however; I know that for some time now I for sure can't see the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to getting out of a cramped office. You fart and you smell it sort of office and never really have any idea what is going to smell like in the morning. Seriously, like today someone visited. Not a problem - I just had a lot going on and for a second I felt kind of annoyed that she came at the time that she did. I mean really 1:00 pm in the afternoon really got on my nerves. I had no lunch yet and it really smelled that I had not had lunch yet and really never got a piss break. For the love of God it felt good to stretch my legs a little bit today. Weird that I had to do it sitting in the floor. Weird, that at times I felt like I could crawl in a corner and cry my eyes out because I am so much a people pleaser and wish to please everyone that I can't see the light of day sometimes. But its alright seriously, cause I hope to be out of that little office sometimes in the next few weeks and hope a least 3 weeks. I do get to the point that I do want to scream just becuase I feel the pressure of having a large million dollar business on my shoulders and being the primary contact for the following can be rather unsettling. 1. Shipping 2. Receiving of packages 3. Accounting bull Ship High In Transit. and not to mention some other things like when Invoices don't go through the way that they should have and at the same time the purchase orders getting rejected due to some people out there actually screwing up the order on a UPS or otherwise side. :| Either way my job right now blows. I want to be shooting photographs. I want to be playing with light and making it work for me and to be able to have some sort of connection with the people I am taking photographs of from sometime to another. Either way, things will eventually figure themselves out I just hope its soon or I am going to go crazy from the exhaustion that I feel everytime I come home from work.

Till next time.
Ciao. :)

Start of a new blogging adventure.

Alrighty, so this is the start of the blogger.com. I got into this a while back and didn't do very well with it and I decided that it was time to get back into it just a little bit to post something or another for photographs. Then again I am just now getting around to being sponsored with Sports Shooter.com. I am not sure whats up with that other than the simple facsimile of being lazy. Either way, all is well at the bug this morning. Things are normal and nothing to out of the ordinary. Shutterbug is an interesting place to work. Very diverse and interesting world here in Bowling Green. Not sure what to aspect next, but should be fine for the world to see what happens here. Till next time - Plus, I am going to put a couple of photographs in here sometime so people can see. Stay Tuned.
